This morning as I prepared for church, I saw an ad about the 1994 Olympics where the gymnast, no matter how good she was, was denied First place.
I immediately thought, “that was 30 years ago. Not that long ago when you really think about it…”
I get to church and my Pastor is starting a new sermon series: That They May Be One. I was immediately brought back to my thinking about the ad I saw before I left the house. My initial response to the ad was to clap back like I know how: with imagery. I created a picture with the saying Stand in your Truth.
I purposely did not post it or text it out because I’ve learned to weigh the matter before I act: to not be so impulsive and led by my feelings. Got to church and received the bigger picture: so that the world may believe that God sent me. Our unity or lack thereof, impacts eternity.
No matter what We are going through right now, our Unity is what will bring us through. The longer We stay divided, the longer we will Be divided. It’s your choice: Stand in Your Truth.
