Reflect Jesus in your listening as well.
I wore my Reflect Jesus shirt this particular Sunday. After church, I had errands to run; one of which was a return/exchange, to the Dollar Tree.
When I pulled up on their lot, Holy Spirit spoke and said “she’s not going to do the return”. I went in the store and gave the cashier the item I needed to return and said I wanted to shop for other things as well.
When I got ready to check out, she wasn’t at the register. So I went to the open register. While in that line, the cashier that had my refund item came and got me out of that line to go to her register. As she rung up my other items, I noticed that she didn’t refund/ exchange the item I brought back. I told her so.
She pressed a couple of buttons on the register then kept ringing up my other items. I asked if she’d done the exchange. She said “YES!” but I knew she still had not – the item I brought back was still in the bag that I brought in.
Now, this is where Reflecting Jesus in your listening pays off. Because this is where I was supposed to Stand My Ground and demand that the refund/ exchange be done. However, I had a Word from the Lord that already told me the outcome: which means, He had already provided for what I think I may lose… even if it’s $1.25.
The cashier had an agenda that I’d already been made aware of BEFORE I even came in contact with her.
”I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t handle them now. But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won’t draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said. He will honor me; he will take from me and deliver it to you. Everything the Father has is also mine. That is why l’ve said, ‘He takes from me and delivers to you!” John 16:12-15 MSG
