Meeting New People

Met two awesome ladies today during a leadership class I took at work.

We sat together for class and we also had lunch together. As we enjoyed food, fun and fellowship during lunch, I learned about how they each have navigated – and in some instances, still navigating, tough times in their lives.

I can truly say that their stories inspired me as well as left me awestruck by their resilience and determination to see life get better; no matter the circumstances.

During one of the testimonies, one of the ladies spoke about a Word that was given to her that resonated in my spirit as I listened. I share that Word with you in hopes that it confirms within you what God has spoken to you as well: “From this day forward, everything is going to be ok… God’s got you” -LaTonya

It’s months later after starting this post that I’m about to finish it. So much has happened in my life to prove how true that Word that Latonya gave was meant for me. The woman that sat at the table in awe and with chills upon hearing the testimony, is now the woman that God has truly shown and proven that everything was going to be ok in my life. Not only did I know that God had my back, He made sure that others knew He had my back as well.

Whatever you may be going through at this time in your life, just know that months later you could be saying the same thing that I’ve been saying for the last six months “I am free, thank God I’m free!”
