Destiny

Can we get to the good part? The problem with that statement is that you miss out on the Journey of where you are currently because you want to be somewhere else. The good part is what happens along the way from where you currently are to where you hope to be. We just don’t see it as the good part… until later in life. At least that is how it happened for me. Now, every path I take becomes a Journey in the Destiny of my life.

Just today, as I’m in the middle of planning for future posts, I get a text asking me to host a class. I remember the days I prayed to be this busy with my “at the time side hustle” and hoped to have people contact me for workshops. I couldn’t wait to get here which means that I often overlooked the good part of the Journey. But over the years, I’ve learned to not rush the process by rushing to have what I’m destined for. And to know that I must be prepared for the good part at every stage of the Journey.

I haven’t always been this confident about my Destiny and being able to reach certain goals I have in life. The longer I stick with what I believe God has called me to do, the easier it has become to slow down and Enjoy every step of the way as a good part.
