If you are reading this post, then it means that things worked out the way (or close enough) to how I narrated in my heart about Us. No, there won’t ever be a post about how we didn’t make it…that’s not in my heart. So why should I write it?
This post is being written before I get the call from you. Before we even talk. Before any of the thoughts about why you haven’t called subsides. This post is me walking in the truth of who I am: the woman who is ready to receive God’s choice for my life.
Years ago, God informed me that you were His choice for my life. At the time, I asked Him to prove it. I kept looking for you to just show up in my life consistently. You didn’t. Just every now and then our paths would cross.
Then, when I took the initiative to reach out to you, I started backing down when it appeared as if I had moved too soon. But I’ve learned to not allow situations to determine how I walk by faith in what God reveals to me. I can believe when He gives me a Word for others. Now’s the time I believe Him for the Word He has given me about Us.
Not only are you God’s choice for my life, you are the Right Choice for my life. The one I pray about daily. The one that turns my on, ON!- IYKYK. The one that I can and will engage this life with, in a relationship that pleases God.
