My Mail

When I tell you that God will read your mail, trust me because He has read my mail this day because of you. Here I am being cautious about entering a relationship with you because of your reputation. Knowing in my heart that at the first sign of you not being “all in” where I am concerned, will have me exiting very quickly. When risk to my heart is in play, I don’t play.
However, what I learned during the Summer at the Movies series at church today is that taking risks is part of the process of fulfilling the vision that God has given you. I’m prepared for the relationship, I’m just hesitant about the risks that’s involved with everyone knowing that this level headed woman is willing to enter a relationship with the one man who’s comfortable saying he’d rather play the field than settle down. I must be desperate.
In my defense, 20 years ago when this relationship was revealed to me through a dream, I had no idea how things would unfold. I just know that God has been connecting us together over the years. I have already worked with two of your brothers, in different career fields. I met your mother at church. And talked with your sister when I went to vote.
So, even with knowing all of that, I still didn’t want the risk of possibly being hurt by you. The movie was Air and the quote was, “The shoes don’t have life until Michael steps into them”. My Mail: The relationship won’t have life until you step into it!”
