I’m Free, Stay Free

I was so excited for this day to come. I’ve been using the natural remedies my doctor and I agreed upon. I’ve been noticing positive changes in my body. Other people have been noticing the changes as well. Nothing drastic because I’m determined to be better at protecting my health long term.

I’ve been monitoring my blood pressure this week in preparation for this appointment. This morning, I took the reading when I first got up. Then I took another one a little later. After I moved around the house and got dressed, I took two more readings. Fifteen minutes before leaving for my appointment, I took two more readings: I took pictures of each reading.

Four month follow-up

Got to my appointment and when I was brought to the back, you guessed it, my blood pressure was high. Not only was it high, it was the EXACT SAME range that I received four months ago. Long story short, my doctor and I came to terms about how this appointment was going as opposed to how it should have gone.

I’ve often said that I don’t know how people who are experiencing serious health challenges make it at the doctor’s office. To have gone through the situation I experienced at my follow-up visit; knowing that I was being made to feel that something really was still wrong with me, had me in my feelings. I know that the staff meant well, but at that point in time, well was not good enough.

So, I’ve purposed in my heart to pray continually for those who are experiencing health challenges. To advocate for them in the spirit realm so that when – no longer saying if, they come up against what I did today, they will already be covered: spiritually.
