Loving Single

As I was about to watch a YouTube video titled Living Single Diaries, the thought came to me that I’m Loving being Single. With all of the changes and opportunities that have come my way lately, I haven’t had much time to think about not being in a relationship. I’ve been focused on growing my business, spending time with friends, overcoming challenges and trying new things.

Just because I’m a Blogger doesn’t mean that I know everything I need to know about running a successful business. That’s why I registered for a strategic coaching session. Which led me to attending classes to learn more about growing my business. In the midst of stepping out of my comfort zone of only doing what I’ve seen others do to grow their businesses, I took some time to visit my friends.

One particular friend invited me to a fashion show; of which this was my very first time attending one. We had so much fun dressing up and being all girly together. Another friend joined us and we laughed, talked and ate until our hearts were content. I’d recently had a session with a old friend that I told needed to take some time just for herself. She’s always taking care of others. And right on the heels of that, this friend offered me the opportunity to do the same for myself.

As I was preparing for my swim lessons, so many challenges came my way. Oh, you didn’t know that at my mature age I never learned to swim? See, there are still some things about me that I haven’t posted. First, there was the nail in my tire; there should be a post about that somewhere around here. Then, we had a couple days of cold weather and my furnace would not come on. And finally, I’m still searching for the WD40 that I bought months ago, used once and now I don’t know where I put it. I hope I didn’t throw it away.

I hope you enjoyed this peek into why I’m Loving Single.
