Breakthrough! I just experienced a breakthrough in my thinking about the concept I had concerning being “approached” by a man thanks to Tony Gaskins. I’m telling you, I was hesitant to receive what he was saying. Then I thought about the men that did “approach” me. Simply WOW! That was a ‘long time’ believing that way mindset that was pulled down in a matter of a twenty minute video. Again, simply WOW!
Add to this revelation that shifted my mindset the Word given to me this morning during my quiet time: Life Change. I truly believe that it’s God who is bringing us together – for such a time as this. He truly has a wonderful plan for the both of our lives and I’m so glad that we get to experience it together. Not only now do I understand some of the dating directives He has given to me, I am thankful that even if I didn’t understand at the time, I didn’t push back and demand to have my way.
Now that I’m better equipped to handle our meeting, the rest as they say is history. I’ve been preparing for and am prepared for after the “approach” – you won’t believe just how prepared I really am. But now, I’m even more excited about our meeting. To think, all the old insecurities and fear of rejection that once had me bound no longer have a hold on me. I can enter this relationship knowing full well that I may have a way planned but God is causing that plan to succeed.
