I knew I had to rebrand the Let’s Talk About It (LTAI) segment of TC Talks when I saw a childhood actor turned producer drinking out of a mug with the words Let’s Talk About It written on it. I’d seen those words in so many other places but I was determined to keep that title for the segment on the podcast. But when I saw her drink from the mug, I threw in the towel. I knew it was time for a name change.
Thinking about how the words were sequenced in the trailer for LTAI, I wanted something that would cause minimal disruption in the flow of the segment’s introduction. So I started talking and talking and that’s when Talk Some More flowed right along with the way I wanted to be able to continue the conversation with each podcast guest. After that, the next step was creating products for the rebrand that can be purchased at my online store Journey.
I was no longer feeling the LTAI line that I had created on Journey. Especially after seeing the words on so many other’s products. I now felt that it would be seen as too commonplace. However, the original Special Edition t-shirt of LTAI is still available. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Because it started me on the Journey to creating the store. It allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and collaborate with the person who brought my idea to life. Maybe one day I’ll Talk Some More about that.
