Potential
All I have is a moment in time when we connected. I know it was a divine connection because years later, I still feel the same way I felt the night it happened: elated, excited and sure. I just knew that you and I being together that night was OUR divine appointment from God. That this time is OUR Potential.
There’s only been one other time in my life when I was so sure about a connection with someone. He was The One I Wanted and the one I went after. However, the hurt he caused and the many more years of hurt I endured made me less confident in my ability to choose an adequate partner. You can read about that relationship here.
As I stand here on the ledge of the internet about to declare my desire for you to be in my life, I’ve already communicated with God that what I post here will be here throughout eternity. That I think these internet streets won’t mind taking the opportunity to use my words against me should our relationship not manifest.
