I penned this phrase when a coworker was going through a stressful time in her relationship. She was dealing with a partner who was dealing with having escaped death when he was involved in a serious car accident.
After having recuperated physically from the car wreck, he was having a hard time recuperating mentally. He thought he should have died in the wreck, therefore, he went about making plans to no longer be alive. This took a toll on my coworker and her performance at work.
One day at work, she looked and sounded so drained; as if she couldn’t go on any longer with the way things were going between her and her boyfriend. I could hear in my spirit that I needed to Encourage her. But what words could I say? So I wrote these words and gave her the note. I could see the tension lift off her because she knew that she was not alone: I cared and so did God.
