I’m interrupting the previously scheduled post for this month to say “Thank You!” to everyone who made the Christmas in July giveaway, my Anniversary post along with the Anniversary Sale a very special time for me as a Blogger. Thank You for every donation, every purchase, every comment and every like. I really felt special and loved during these times. To know that you all took the time to read, respond, comment and share, in those times of me giving back in order to be a blessing to others, you in turn blessed me as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed hosting the giveaway. As you can see from the picture above, the giveaway winner did respond to my notice. This giveaway is only the beginning. During that time, my desire was leaning toward wanting to offer more than one prize. So I look forward to hosting other giveaways with multiple prizes as well as multiple winners.
What can I say about my 8 year Anniversary that would encourage you to keep going forward on your Journey? If you only knew how many times I tried to quit. How many times I said “no more!” How many times I didn’t know what to say in a blog post. And how many times over the three week period of the giveaway and anniversary that I was so happy that I didn’t stop blogging. What I felt during that time frame was what I thought I would experience from day one when I started blogging. It just took longer to get there because I chartered the course set before me: blogging underemployed. Then working part time while blogging. To now working full time and still blogging.
Can you believe it? I had an actual Anniversary sale! Even more impressive is the fact that I had people to purchase products as well as make a donation. I felt blessed to know that you all think highly enough of me that you would purchase products I created. I just saw a video where an influencer has 2 million followers and couldn’t get the minimum number of people needed to purchase her product. That in itself humbled me even more to know that the numbers (of followers) I thought I needed to “make it” didn’t even come close to the Community that must be built between me and those who follow my platforms. Check out the Community tab under Menu to see how you can participate. So again I say Thank You to each and every one of you!
